MP Dies of Corona Pune:
MP Dies of Corona Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Rajiv Satav died in a private hospital this morning.
According to Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope, the 46-year-old Congress leader was in critical condition after being diagnosed with a new viral infection called cytomegalovirus.
“Rajeev Satav was on his way to recovery, but his health deteriorated again and his condition is now critical. Doctors found that he has got a yotomegalovirus infection,” Tope was quoted as saying by PTI on Saturday.
Considered close to Mr. Satava, Rahul Gandhi remembered him as a leader of great caliber who embodied the ideals of the Congress.
Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal said that he was devastated by irreparable damage. He said that the party will always remember his indelible dedication, involvement and immense popularity.
“Congress has lost its frontline warrior, CWC member, MP, most promising youth leader and dear friend Mr. Rajiv Satav today. I am devastated by irreparable loss. The party will always remember his indelible dedication, involvement and immense popularity . My heartfelt condolences, “Mr. Venugopal tweeted.
